A good forested area for local birds is to be found at Blue Range Hut, starting at the picnic area. Richard Mason (6295 2086) will lead this easy walk, having met him at the hut at 8:00am. To get there follow the Brindabella Road for about 4 km. past Uriarra Homestead, towards Picadilly Circus. Turn right and follow the track for 3 km to the picnic area. BYO morning tea. The walk will be finished before lunchtime.
