To see some birds not generally found locally why not join this field trip to the Tallanganda State Forest ? Richard Allen (6273 4508) will be leading this mini-bus trip for an easy walk in the forest. Possible sightings include Black-faced Monach, Lewin's Honeyeater, Red-browed Treecreeper, Rose Robin and Pink Robin. Be aware that it can be cool in the forest, so bring appropriate clothing as well as walking shoes. There is a picnic area, so BYO lunch and drinks. The mini-bus will leave the Natural History Centre (Griffin Centre) at 7:30 am sharp for the (about) 1 hour trip out to the forest.
