The second of our special bus trips to help get you started with atlassing. This one is in a 22-seater bus, into the Brindabella Ranges. Jenny Bounds will lead the trip and John Avery will drive the bus. You need to register with Jenny on 6288 7802. If you leave a message on her answering machine, Jenny will call back to confirm your place. Meet at the Natural History Centre, Civic for a 7.45 am departure. The bus will return by 4.30 pm.
Bring lunch and drinks for the day, a warm waterproof jacket (in case of weather change; it can get cold very quickly in the mountains), a clipboard, pens and pencils. Sturdy walking shoes or boots and long trousers (not shorts) are recommended. This trip will include a walk of a couple of kilometres into Ginini Flat on a rough track, and is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties. There is a nominal charge of $10.00 to cover costs. Pay Jenny at a COG meeting or arrange with Jenny to pay on the day.
