Detail - Lyrebirds at Tidbinbilla (Sunday 11 July 1999)

Yes - it's on again. David McDonald has kindly agreed again to lead this popular walk. It will be a morning walk at the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve. Winter, the lyrebird breeding season, is the time when these birds are most vocal, including imitating other birds of the forest. Please note that the walk is limited to 15 people, and that bookings can only be made by contacting Alistair Bestow (6281 1481); they cannot be made at the old COG shopfront. If demand for places exceeds supply, preference will be given to those who have not been on this walk in previous years. Please meet David at the gates to Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve at 9 am sharp (the usual entry fee to the reserve will apply).
