Come on Wednesday birdos, it's spring and time to emerge from hibernation! The roll for three out of the last four outings has been: one, one, and three.
The three who turned up for the August outing at Diddams Close Park, Lake Ginninderra, had a very pleasant morning. We recorded 28 species including an abundance of Fairy Martins, a friendly flock of Red-browed Finches bent on taking the same route as ourselves, a pair of White-faced Herons looking ungainly at their nest high in a eucalypt close to the lake and an Australian Raven sitting on a nest nearby.
