Several COG members joined Alistair Bestow in a leisurely afternoon walk around Farrer Ridge. The day was pleasant, although a bit windy. Several feeding flocks of thornbills were seen along with a few honeyeaters and pardalotes. An accipiter species caused some consternation among the resident magpies, but the participants failed to obtain good enough looks to confirm the species.
