Being a summer day-this is the place to go, for not only is there birdwatching, but a place to swim afterwards in the Murrumbidgee River. Jim Desmarchelier (6297 5472) has kindly agreed to host COG at his property at Wombat Hole on the River for the morning. Please meet Jim at the carpark on the Tharwa side of the Tharwa Bridge at 7.45am (possibly doing some carpooling) before being escorted for the 20 minute drive to his property. There are slopes to walk on so bring good shoes, binoculars, hats and drinks, and your swimming togs!!
