This COG outing went fairly well with 13 participants, including 3 children, mostly people new or potential members to COG. Nice morning with the usual batch of birds for ANBG. No Rose Robins or Crescent Honeyeaters, (my main target species). However we did encounter one local rarity, a Little Wattlebird, in the Grevillea area below the Eucalypt lawn. This bird has been found again by one of the volunteer guides. The ANBG gives a chance to talk about some of the detailed social behaviour study going on with many species there.
