Report - Wednesday Walk (Wed 16 April 2003)

Four stalwarts braved a cold and windy start to the day. Our loop through the southern side of the Aranda woodland yielded only 13 species (all in the sheltered valley at the bottom of the slope).

The day warmed up as we strolled through the bird less trees of upper Aranda and we were rewarded with sparkling views down the Woden Valley.

We resolved to all bring morning tea next time. Birding highlight was a Speckled Warbler.
